Steve Knuth – AgWest Commodities President & Founder
Steve grew up on a family farm in south central Nebraska. Three decades of involvement in ag-related businesses has provided a diverse understanding of production agriculture and the challenges producers face. Steve has traded futures and options since 1988 and has been a licensed commodity broker since 1990. In 1999, he and Susan Platt co-founded AgWest Commodities with a mission of delivering simple yet affective price risk management programs to producers. In 2005, Steve founded the energy and input sister firm of AgWest Commodities, AgWest Energy, LLC.

Mike Hoelscher – Energy Division Manager / AIM Consultant
Mike was raised on a family farm in eastern Nebraska and earned a degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska. He earned experience as a Financial Advisor and as an Agricultural Hedge Broker with AgWest. In June of 2008, Mike transitioned into supervising the portfolio of managed futures accounts and worked to develop alternative hedge products for clients of AgWest. He currently heads up AgWest Energy, LLC, which specializes in energy hedging and farm input consulting. He holds Series 3,4,6,7,24 and 63 licenses. With his background, Mike has over 10 years of experience in commodities, securities, risk management and most importantly relationships with clients.

Katie Dannull – Energy Hedge Consultant / Energy Operations
Katie grew up on a family farm/cattle feedlot north of Holdrege. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Animal Science Business. Her experience on the OSU equestrian team and working part time at the family operation has provided her strong communication skills. At the family owned feed yard, Katie assisted with bookkeeping, market information and communications with customers. At AgWest Energy, Katie works with clients to implement and execute the CORE Energy Plan.

Craig Poyser – AIM Advisor / Grain & Livestock Hedge Broker
Eighteen years in the retail fertilizer and chemical business engrained in Craig the importance of customer service. As a Certified Crop Advisor, Craig was heavily involved in developing crop production programs and practices. His key strength is his ability to recognize the risk factors of production agriculture. His goal is to preserve and enhance each client's profitability through proven risk management and sales execution techniques.
